I just purchased their apricot and pistachio scone, I've never had a scone this light on the inside with a nice shell outside and absolutely so flavourful delicious! My cappuccino reminds me of being back in Holland, smooth and silky...most enjoyable coffee I've had here in Toronto. There is no bitterness! I unfortunately took out my order but I will be back again to try their other treats.
I just tried origin coffee for the first time today, and I absolutely loved it! I'm really picky about what I consider a coffee good, and their cappuccino was absolutely delicious! The service was with a smile, and the atmosphere is really warm and cozy. Origin coffee, you made my day! I'm so glad I found this spot. It's going to be a regular for me, from now on!
Warm, welcoming decor. Friendly and attentive service. Excellent micro-batch, in-house roasted coffee with several brewing methods available. Baked goods are made fresh in-house with limited, high quality ingredients. An added bonus is they're low in added sugar. Pistachio/Apricot and blueberry scones are amazing. Family owned/operated and featuring tile mosaic tables and art for sale from a rotating line-up of local artists. In my humble opinion the nicest independent cafe in the city.
Lovely staff, absolutely delicious coffee (roasted ON SITE), and a large assortment of pastries. Extra charming given the rotation of artwork, as well as beautiful inlaid mosaics throughout (which can also be found along Mount Pleasant Road on sidewalks and in some planters). Very highly recommend.
Nice coffee shop, their mocha was great, my friends had their tea and latte. Pastry was tasty, but you have to ask them to warm it. Only con would be their overall menu selection as it’s pretty limited. Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was fully packed. It’s paid street parking after 1pm that day or one hour free on one of the side streets if you’re lucky to get a spot.
Really lovely family-owned cafe with truly wonderful staff. The vibe and atmosphere is great, and they have the *best coffee* I’ve had in Toronto (I’ve lived here for a decade and visited quite a few cafes during that time). I wish them all the success!
Best coffee in the area! I'm addicted to their granola cookies with latte. Great service too: they threw in a cherry cake with my coffee for free once (maybe, because it was not too fresh, but still good). As for the interior, I love that they exhibit and sell art. Almost each time I go there, they have different paintings. I love it!
I got the Gaesha coffee! It was fantastic type of coffee I’ve never had in my life. And she explained it really well and she also makes and sells tons of art in the cafe. It’s just so nice to come here. Not my favourite cookie but it was still good.
